”Heywood’s casually charismatic delivery is reminiscent of a less angsty Courtney Barnett, but her brassy and mature vibrato sets her apart.’ – Two Story Melody
Zoe Berman is a Denver-based singer-songwriter. Frequently performing as a one-woman band, she accompanies her sultry vocals on the piano and guitar, often complemented by a hand-built suitcase drum played with her feet. Zoe also performs alongside a full band known as The Loveseats, a versatile group of musicians who bring her songs to life with an eclectic, neo-soul flare.Zoe “combines musicality and lyrical poeticism into a hypnotizing mélange of soul, jazz, and americana music”. Her lyrics are often auto-biographical, brimming with relatable narrative and sensorial imagery. “Zoe creates songs that are tender and utterly human”; she strives to use music as a catalyst for generating interpersonal connection and reinforcing our shared humanity.
Bear and the Beasts are a rowdy 6-piece soul-tinged Americana band from Denver that blends elements of folk, jazz, and roots into a cosmic sound that can explode like a quasar or float like a Tesla Roadster through space. With a white-knuckled, bone-rattling intensity and a compositional command that is downright orchestral, they tackle themes such as social justice, death, and millennial malaise with a paradoxical sense of gravitas and irreverence. Backed with devastatingly powerful songwriting, delicately crafted vocal harmonies, and lush, innovative horn arrangements, Bear and the Beasts have created a powerful tour de force that can turn the diviest bar into a tent revival.
Denver-based folk singer-songwriter, ELLSWORTH, has released her debut album, available now on all streaming platforms. The folk singer-songwriter’s impressive album consists of dreamlike vocals, bright melodies and ruminative lyrics masterfully captured through skilled mixing and musical composition. ELLSWORTH has been compared to top tier artists such as Regina Spektor and Angus & Julia Stone with her melancholic flair on the folk genre. Her award winning song, “Close the Door” serves as an anthem for listeners who search for meaning in music. “ELLSWORTH is a story of self-love and encapsulates what happens when true talent finds their voice.” (Evangeline, Freelance Music Reviewer)
