Doors: 7pm Show: 8pm

Lost Lake Presents Kenzie Cait with berryblue and Cameron Cade on Sunday, April 13th.

Nashville-based singer-songwriter Kenzie Cait makes the kind of music that prompts the listener to think, “How did she put what I’m feeling into words?”

As a guitarist and writer who was told she began humming melodies before she could speak, music is truly embedded into Kenzie Cait’s DNA. With more and more people clamoring for music in the vein of Ariana Grande, Phoebe Bridgers, and Olivia Rodrigo, with the blueprint of Taylor Swift, Kenzie has arrived just in time.

Her highly anticipated EP, good luck, goodbye was designed to heal and empower. With this new release, Kenzie pivots away from the thick of heartbreak that defined her first project, innocence, and embraces a summer of healing.

Speaking about the EP, she shares, “I surrounded myself with the most awe-inspiring women I know, and found myself in the process. I rediscovered my confidence and found myself having more fun than ever — and I learned that I did not need any man to do that.”

good luck, goodbye, which ranges from heavy-hitting pop anthems like “thank god” to contagious confidence of “no duh,” confirms that Kenzie Cait’s next chapter has officially arrived. While the focus of the project is on other people in their 20s, her accessibility and authentic voice ensure that people across demographics can enjoy the music. She lets herself be bubbly and silly in fresh, new ways, and even brought in some of those amazing women in her life to provide background vocals for one special track.

As she confidently steps into her new era, one thing that hasn’t changed is the fact that Kenzie Cait makes music to be shared, whether in the form of a live concert or a friend DMing a streaming link. Her music has a communal sense of understanding to it, paramount to Kenzie’s vision for her artistry going forward. As someone who has spent her life committed to loving artists who inspire her, she’s still a fan’s fan through and through — but her time in the spotlight has only just begun.
